| Mark from MRC came down and installed the tin. I finished installing the power Lexan windows and the final door assembly. The windows work great. Now I have to see how many times I can roll the window up and down before the window felts leave a mark. | ||

| My 572" Pump-Gas Motor on the dyno. | |
|
Went to RBRE to see the 572" make some pulls. When the day ended we reached our goal, 900 HP and 772 ft/lbs. of torque. Remember this motor has 10.5:1 comp and a small cam. |

| A perfect Fit...well maybe not. | |

Why is it that when you buy all new stuff, nothing fits? I bought Fiberglass fenders, front and rear bumpers and a trunk lid from Unlimited Products. They are the biggest pieces of crap I've ever seen. Everything that I got from them is in the garbage except the rear bumper that fits like a glove. After replacing both rear quarter panels and making sure they fit to my factory rear gravel pan, I decided to get a new splash pan. Wow...what a mistake, after bolting it up there was a 10" gap between the tail light panel and the new pan. So, after taking 2 inches out of the length, I got it to fit a little better. Notice the perfect fit of the bumper to the taillight panel. Sweet.... the problem is the HUGE gap at the bottom. Oh well, next cut will be to slice it the long way and start filling in the gap (as if cutting it in half once already wasn’t enough). |
|
ok...I'm still trying to recover from the Unlimited Products BS. So I did some work on the original steel trunk lid and took it up to Terry Hall so he can make a mold of it and pop me out a new lid. If you need any custom fiberglass or carbon fiber parts, he is the man. He also has a mold for Cuda bodies. You can check out the Cuda mold on his web site. One of my requirements of this build up is that the hood and trunk lid must hinge on the car. No pin-on stuff. My new fiberglass fenders that I ordered from Autobody Specialties have come in, I need to pick them up this weekend. I do have both steel front fenders for sale. Also the Unlimited Fiberglass crap is for sale too (the dumpster hasn’t been picked up yet). So if you want brand new crap, send me an e-mail. Actually, they are ok for a racecar, just not for me. |

The AlterKation front suspension is in, everything went in nice, looks like it will work out very well for this project. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. |

The Cuda is at Markow Race Cars getting the chassis done. I decided to build it to pass the new sfi 25.5 spec. So it should be good to 7.5 sec. Not that it will run that, but I would like to run what my Stealth runs. |

Here is the new HEMI that I ordered from Ray Barton. Well its a picture of it anyway. I ripped it off his website. I should get something for the money I spent with him. Well I am getting an all aluminum 572" pump gas Hemi and a complete fuel system (Aeromotive), for just under $_ _,_ _ _. Go ahead fill it in... |

OK...so after a visit to Ray Barton's shop I decided to go with a 572cid HEMI. He just had one on the dyno and it made 880hp and 770 ft lbs of toque. so I bumped up the cubic inches and went with the big titanium valves. This new combo should be good for 900hp. Also decide to run the Bruno drive and Jeffco that I was running in the Stealth. |

Well....ok it's not a Hemi, yet. I just bought a 71 Cuda. It's an original 318 2 brl. car with a 70 nose on it. Needs all new floors and quarter panels. The trim is in good condition but the interior is shot. The whole car needs to be disassembled and stripped. | |||

Pulled the motor today and removed the doors. Went to Auto Body Specialties and picked up some new quarter panels, floors, inner fenders and a new trunk lid. Trying to decide what to do about the front suspension. Might go with an AlterKation A arm set-up. The rear is getting a 4-link from Markow Race Cars. |
